SUMMARY:Wednesday Night Scroungers
DESCRIPTION:Test your drawing skills\nThe ultimate one on one competition\nGreat prize money up for grabs\nHave loads of fun under the lights\nREGISTER & PAY FROM 4:45PM\nSTART TIME 5.30PM\n\nJOIN US EVERY WEDNESDAY \nENTRY FEE $12 PER PERSON \n  \nSTARTING PLAY \n\nEach player will use 4 bowls\nThe initial order of play is determined by the order on the card with player one being the scorer (can be delegated to another player if agreed to)\nPlay is started by rolling the Jack. Where it stops is where you play to.\nIf the Jack is rolled out of bounds or into the ditch on the initial roll then the roll is passed to the second bowler. If the Jack is rolled out of bound by the second bowler then the Jack is spotted at the T.  The order of play remains the same.\n\n  \nGAME PLAY \n\nOn the first end\, each bowler bowls in turn according the order on card\nAt the completion of each end points will be tallied as follows:\n\n  \n\nClosest to the Jack = 4 points\nSecond closest = 3 points\nThird closest = 2 points\nFourth closest = 1 point\n\n  \n\nFrom the second end order of play is determined by who scored the highest in that end. Highest score goes first\, next highest second etc.\n\nIf two or more players don’t score in a particular end then order is determined by results of previous ends. \n\nNo player is allowed to approach the head at any time or otherwise prior to their bowl.\nMeasuring is permitted to determine the result of the end.\nIf a bowl in its normal path comes into contact with a bowl from an adjoining rink then both bowls can be retrieved and replayed. However\, If contact is made by a wrong bias bowl then the wrong bias bowl would be dead and the other bowl replayed.\nIt is customary to place the winning bowls on the mat in winning order. This helps the scorer maintain accurate results.\n\n  \nTHE JACK AND PENALTIES \n\nIf the Jack is forced into the ditch by any players bowl it will remain there until the completion of that end. NO marker will be placed to indicate the position Jack.\nIf during the course of play the Jack is forced Out of Bounds\, the player that caused this will be penalised 4 POINTS which will be deducted from their score at the completion of the end. The Jack will then be placed at the T for the resumption of play.\n\nThis does not apply to the initial roll of the Jack. \n\nAny bowl that is out of bounds is considered dead and should be removed from the rink immediately.\n\n  \nTHE GAME \n\nFirst round is 11 ends. Highest score moves through.\nSecond round is 3 ends and should be played on a rink not previously bowled on by the players. 4s winners will verse 4s winners\, 3s winners will verse 3s winner as a first priority when possible.\n\nHighest score moves though. \n\nFinal round is 3 ends. This will be played on a rink that has been reserved for the final to make sure no one has bowled on that rink previously (should be an end rink such as 8).  Highest score is winner and second highest runner up.  Prize money will be distributed accordingly.\nAny drawn game at any stage is determined by a ONE bowl play off.\n\nClosest to the Jack wins. \n\nAt no time can you offer information about the state of the head to any player on any rink.
